Aby M Joseph is a Product Engineer and Rapid Hacker with a strong background in Information Technology. With a Bachelor of Technology (Honours) in Computer Science & Engineering and NSQF level 7 certification on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from IIT Madras and ASAP Kerala, Aby has developed a diverse skill set in various technologies such as Python, GraphQL, Falcon, Flask, Fast API, REST API's, MongoDB, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket pipelines, Apollo Federation, Jira, Git, Bitbucket, Pycharm, Pytest, and Terraform. Currently, Aby is working as a Product Engineer at UST, where he is the Backend Engineering Lead for two business verticals. He builds, deploys, and maintains Python Falcon-powered microservices using GraphQL, Rest API, and MongoDB. Aby collaborates with front-end developers, product managers, business teams, and technical support teams to make the development process hassle-free. Before joining UST, Aby worked as an SDE Intern at UST, where he developed a mobile application for traffic violation field. He also worked as a Software Engineer at TCS Rapid Labs, where he was part of 'TCS Corporate Rapid Labs' that aims at accelerating innovation. Aby was responsible for building POCs and MVPs from requirement gathering to delivery for both existing and new clients. He was also a Technical Mentor for two Rapid Lab teams across geography and business unit for their use cases in Rapid Cohort during Lab expansion. Aby has won three hackathons and has experience working on Full stack/prototype development (Flask/React), Image/Video analytics, Web automation, Data analytics, and Cloud AI. He has taken SME connect sessions on Python, AI & Cloud for teams in various business units.
